A daily prayer app, redesigned to turn downloads into habits.
24/7 Prayer’s Lectio 365 serves a global community every morning, midday and evening. Across a multi-phase UX design partnership, we redesigned the app, evolved its brand and rebuilt onboarding around the point where new users were dropping away.

The results
High downloads. Too few daily habits.
The app needed a more beautiful, contemplative experience, then room for a new midday prayer. Analytics later showed the bigger issue: many people downloaded the app but were not forming a lasting habit.
UX design across three phases.
The redesign introduced a new Day/Night experience; UX workshops and brand exploration shaped the midday prayer; and a discovery into survey data and user feedback shaped onboarding. The key insight: new users often felt lost or disconnected.
- A full redesign with a Day/Night mode in 24/7 Prayer’s colours
- An immersive new photography treatment
- A warm yellow identity for the new midday prayer
- An expanded brand palette, agreed by 24/7 Prayer
- Onboarding that welcomes users rather than teaching the interface
A welcoming app built for daily return.
The new onboarding explains why the app exists and gently guides new users into their first devotional, aiming to build a connection from day one. The partnership continues through iterative improvement for a community of daily users.
