Let's talk

One email system for every team at Mind, in English and Welsh.

Mind’s email templates were dated, underperforming and fragmented across teams, and needed to carry its refreshed brand. As a charity digital agency partner, we consolidated every department’s needs into five templates designed to drive donations, volunteering and access to mental health support.

01 — The constraint

Many teams, many needs, no single system.

Events, fundraising, volunteering and policy teams, across England and Wales, each had different goals. The old templates were dated, underperforming and needed to reflect the refreshed brand, and no one team’s needs could be favoured over another’s.

02 — What we built

Charity email, unified for every team.

Workshops and user mapping distilled every department’s needs into a manageable set of outcomes. Our UX specialist then worked with our digital marketing and development teams to design, code and deliver the templates.

  • Five templates, from ‘Newsletter’ to ‘Get Involved’
  • Five colourways, in English, Welsh and multi-language
  • Clear calls to action for each defined goal
  • Coded templates imported and tested in DotDigital
  • Best-practice training for the Mind team
03 — The outcome

Simpler for the team. Easier to find help.

Every department now has one consistent, on-brand set of templates to work from, each designed to make action as simple as possible: from donating and volunteering to finding mental health help and support.
